TERMS OF SERVICE: LIGHT & LIMINAL LLC

Welcome to Light & Liminal LLC. By accessing our website or engaging in our Shadow Integration services, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. NATURE OF SERVICES

Light & Liminal LLC provides Shadow Integration and Personal Development Coaching.

  • Not Therapy: You acknowledge that shadow work is for educational and self-exploration purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional mental health care, medical advice, or psychiatric therapy.

  • Client Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your own physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Light & Liminal LLC does not diagnose or treat mental disorders.

2. SAFETY & CRISIS PROTOCOLS

In accordance with our internal LL-OPS-012 Emergency Protocol:

  • Crisis Resources: We maintain a list of domestic and international crisis referral links and text numbers in the footer of our website.

  • Immediate Harm: If you are in immediate danger of harming yourself or others, our practitioners are trained to follow the LL-OPS-012 protocol, which may include connecting you with local emergency services or a crisis hotline.

  • Right to Pause: We reserve the right to pause or terminate a session if we believe a client is in a state of active crisis that requires clinical intervention.

3. PAYMENTS & SALES TAX

  • Registration: Light & Liminal LLC is a registered business in the State of North Carolina.

  • Sales Tax: We collect sales tax on all orders as required by law.

    • Tangible Goods: For physical products fulfilled via Printful, sales tax will be calculated and collected based on the shipping destination’s local tax nexus.

    • NC Residents: In accordance with our NC Sales Tax registration, applicable state and local taxes will be applied to all retail sales and taxable services delivered within North Carolina.

  • International: International clients are responsible for any local import duties or VAT applicable in their jurisdiction.

4. TESTIMONIALS & MARKETING CONSENT

We value your feedback and may provide a link to share your experience.

  • Active Consent: To comply with global privacy laws (GDPR/CCPA), we will only use your testimonial for marketing if you provide explicit consent via an unchecked-by-default checkbox on our submission form.

  • Withdrawal: You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us. Upon request, we will remove your testimonial from our website and marketing materials within 30 days.

5. INTERNATIONAL USERS

Light & Liminal LLC operates globally.

  • Privacy: We adhere to the "Highest Common Denominator" of privacy protection. We do not sell your data, and we only process personal information necessary to deliver our services.

  • Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA. Any disputes will be settled in the jurisdiction of Wake County, NC.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All materials provided during sessions, including PDFs, recorded sessions, and proprietary shadow integration frameworks, are the intellectual property of Light & Liminal LLC and are for your personal use only. They may not be resold or redistributed.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Light & Liminal LLC and its practitioners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in shadow work. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with the deep emotional exploration involved in these services.
